Princeton (N J) Preparatory School and Hyde Park High School, Chicago. Electncal engineering course, Class statistician, member Class Supper Committee and secretary Chicago Club Semor year, member The Cloister and Book and Snake Purchasing agent and sales manager Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Company, Chicago, 1897-1902, organized the Belden Manufacturmg Company (makers of electrical wire cordage and cables) 1902 and had served as president and chairman of the board smce that time; president Employers' Association of Chicago 1933-37, vice-president 1937 and 1938 and director 1932-36 Illinois Manufacturers' Association, director Lake Forest Trust & Savmgs Bank, vice-president of his Class for a number of years, represented Yale Club of Chicago on Alumni Board 1920-21 Marned Jime 7, 1902, in Kendworth, 111, Mary Campbell Rew (Northwestern-University 1897-1901), daughter of Francis and Harnet Brady (Campbell) Rew Son, Joseph Congdon, Jr , '26 S Death due to carcinoma.
