Polytechnic Preparatory School, Brooklyn, and Lawrenceville School. Mechamcal engmeermg course, member Umversity Club Associated with Alberger Pump and Condenser Company, New York City, 1910-17, sales engmeer and manager New York office Midwest Engme Company for a few months m 1919; member of his father's firm 1919-35, associate broker Cox & Stevens, Inc, naval architects and yacht brokers, New York City, 1935-39, enlisted May 15,1917; attended Officers' Training Camp, Plattsburg; commissioned First Lieutenant, Field Artillery, August 15, 1917, with Company C, 301st Ammunition Tram, 76th Division, Camp Devens, overseas July, 1918-July 6, 1919, attached to 301st Headquarters Tram and Military Pohce; attended Saumur Artillery School, with Army of Occupation at Baumbach, Germany, attached to Battery A, 6th Field Artillery, 1st Division; discharged July 23, 1919, member First Division Society and Amencan Legion Unmarned Death due to coronary occlusion Ashes mterred m Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, N Y Survived by mother and father.
