Yale 1934, commissioned Captam, Quartermaster Reserve Corps, July 2, 1917, resigned commission May 24, 1918, to serve as supervisor of examiners, Postal Censorship Office, Honolulu, Apnl 18, 1918-February 26, 1919; first vice-president Guardian Trust Company, Ltd , 1913, second vice-president 1914-33, and a director, vice-president Hawanan Histoncal Society 1911-14, an organizer terntonal archives commission 1905 and member 1905-07, secretary Umversity Club of Honolulu 1905-13, vice-president 1913-14, and president 1914-15, vice- president Yale Alumni Association of Hawan 1914-15, member Hawaiian Board of Missions, Sons of the American Revolution, and Central Umon Church (Congregational), Honolulu Marned July 21, 1899, in Honolulu, Madeline Perry, daughter of Alfred Stedman and Charlotte Elizabeth (Smith) Hartwell Children a son (died two days after birth), Bernice, Dorothy (B A Umv of Hawan 1928), the wife of Wilham Alexander Jackson (B A. Williams 1927), and Albert Francis, Jr. (Williams ex-'34). Death due to carcinoma. Ashes mterred in Nuuanu Cemetery, Honolulu. Survived by wife, daughters, one son, one grandson, two sisters, Miss Agnes Elizabeth Judd of Honolulu, and Sophie Judd Cooke, the wife of George P. Cooke, '05, and four brothers, James R Judd, '97, Henry P. Judd, '01, Gernt P Judd, 3d (V M D Umv. of Pennsylvania 1908) of Molokai, Hawan, and Lawrence M Judd of Honolulu. Two other brothers, Allan W. Judd, ex-'oi, and Charles S Judd, '05, died m 1930 and 1939 respectively. Henry George Lapham, B.A. 1897. Bom July 5, 1875, in Brooklyn, N Y Died December 16, 1939, in Brookline, Mass Father, John Jesse Lapham of New York City, a founder Texas Corporation, vice-president Central Leather Company and Umted States Leather Company; son of Henry Griffith and Semantha (Vad) Lapham of New York City. Mother, Mary Elizabeth (Walker) Lapham, daughter of George G and Emdy (Lapham) Walker of Salem, N Y. Berkeley School, New York City, and pnvate tutor. On Class supper committee and president Berkeley Club Semor year; member Umversity Club and Alpha Delta Phi.
