Father, Edwm Wales Eaton, treasurer and director Nonotuck Silk Company, son of Edwm and Caroline (Gaylord) Eaton of Chaplin, Conn. Mother, Frances Manon (Swift) Eaton, daughter of Charles and Frances (Udey) Swift of Seymour, Conn. Yale relatives mclude two brothers, Charles E Eaton, '84, and Wilfred E Eaton, '85 Dearborn-Morgan School, Orange, N J Member Freshman Umon Travelled in Europe 1900-01; associated with Nonotuck Silk Company, which merged in 1921 with Brainerd & Armstrong Company to form Corticelh Sdk Company, 1901 until retirement 1932, m New York office 1901-02, at factory m Florence, Mass, 1902-03, New York manager and assistant treasurer 1907-12, vice-president 1912-25, president 1925-29, and chairman of the board 1929-32; assistant treasurer and a director Bramerd & Armstrong Company 1907-12, member board of managers Sdk Association of Amenca, resided m Morristown, NJ, and was active m civic affairs, on board of directors Community Chest, treasurer Boy Scouts 1938 and 1939, member Umon League Club of New York, and Church of the Redeemer (Episcopal), Mornstown (vestryman 1938-40) Maimed October 26, 1912, at Newport News, Va, Minnie Harris Blake (B S.
