Buned in White Church Cemetery, West Springfield Survived by son, three grandchddren, a sister, Mrs Ansley Chesley Stevens of Oakland, Calif, and a half sister, Miss Alice Harnet Southworth of Southern Pmes, N C Frederick Denison Ward, B.A. 1883. Born July 17, 1861, in New York City Died August 18, 1940, at Hot Springs, Ark Father, Albert Squier Ward, accountant with Aaron Claflin & Company, New York City; son of William and Electa (Beach) Ward of Livmgston, N J Mother, Mary Elizabeth (Peters) Ward, daughter of Rev Absalom Peters, D D (B A Dartmouth 1816) and Harriet Hinckly (Hatch) Peters of New York City Yale relatives mclude an uncle, George A Peters (M A Hon 1881) Greylock Institute, South Wilhamstown, Mass Member Class gun club, Hare and Hounds Club, Yale Yacht Club, and Delta Kappa Estimator on cut stone work Young & Farrel Diamond Stone Sawmg Company, Chicago, 1883, prospector for merchantable onyx m Crawford County, Mo , 1884, clerical worker Fehx & Marston, wooden and willow ware, Chicago, 1884, manager claims department Sprague, Warner & Company, wholesale groceries, Chicago, 1885-90, member
