Chddren: Alfred Rockwell, '31, and Katharine Ehot (B A Vassar 1933), the wife of Donald Harns. Mrs. Sumner died January 23,1936 Marned (2) August 14,1937, m New York City, Mary Louise, daughter of Victor and Mary Louise (Zimmer) Breidt. Death due to coronary thrombosis. Buned in Alderbrook Cemetery, Guilford, Conn. Survived by wife, chddren, one grandson, and a brother, Graham Sumner, '97. William Francis Clark, B.A. 1897. Bom May 26, 1871, in Thompsonvtlle, Conn. Died September 8, 1940, in Plainfield, NJ. Father, John DeForest Clark, a contractor in Menden, Conn.; son of Remick Knowles and Abigad (Redfield) Clark of Menden. Mother, Mary Ellen (Johnstone) Clark, daughter of Robert Farquhar and Mary McKenzie (Hunter) Johnstone of Thompsonville and Menden. Suffield Academy.
