Stuyvesant High School, New York City; B.A. Columbia 1926, attended Yale School of Medicme 1926-30 (MD 1930); interne Jersey City Hospital 1930-31 and Mornsama City Hospital, New York City, 1931-33 (resident physician January-June, 1933); physician m New York City 1933-41, on staff Mornsama City and Lenox Hill hospitals and Hospital for Ruptured and Cnppled, a founder and director Amencan Bureau for Medical Aid to China, Inc ; awarded Medal of Honored Ment by Chmese government 1940; fellow Amencan Medical Association. Marned September 24, 1926, Mary C, daughter of T. T. York and Yue Tse. Chddren Cora, Dawn, and Manlyn. Death due to carcinoma Buned in Woodlawn Cemetery, New York City Survived by wife, chddren, parents, three sisters, Elaine Gm Chu Li (Hunter Coll 1934-36), the wife of Fon Li (B.S. m C E. Georgia School of Technology 1936), Toy Chu (Coll. of the City of New York 1936-40; New York Umv 1940-41), and Dora King Chu (New York Umv. 1940-41), and four brothers, Fong Chu (Lingnan Umv. 1934-37), Fey Chu (Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst ex-1938; Western Reserve Medical Coll 1942), Foo Chu (Coll. of the City of New York 1936-37; Oberhn 1938-41), and Foen Chu, all of New York City.
