Attended Presbytenan College, Carmarthen, Wales, 1882-86, Yale Divinity School 1886-90 (B D 1889), and Yale Graduate School 1888-91 (Ph.D 1891); minister m Wales and England, at Pontypndd, Wales, 1893-1900, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, 1901-04, Manchester, Lancashire, 1907-11, and Congleton, Cheshire, 1911-21, retired in 1921 and resided in Aberystwyth. Marned 1897, m Trowbridge, Wdtshire, Florence Davis Children* Bronwen, Waldo, Una, and Ida (died 1910) Mrs Griffiths died m 1931. Cremated at Pontypndd Survived by three chddren John Lincoln Keedy, B.D. 1893. Bom January 6,1869, in Rohrersville, Md Died October 15,1940, in Walpole, Mass Father, Rev. David Darnel Keedy (Mount Pleasant Coll ex-1856), a minister of Umted Brethren Church, trustee and financial agent Lebanon Valley College; son of Darnel and Sophia (Miller) Keedy of Rohrersville. Mother, Luanda Nancy (Breechbdl) Keedy, daughter of Christian and Nancy (George) Breechbdl of Mount Pleasant, Pa B.A. Lebanon Valley College 1889, teacher of science Watkins College, California, 1889-90, attended Yale Divinity School 1890-94 (B D. 1893), ordained m Congregational church, Lysander, NY, 1894 and minister there 1894-1900, minister Walpole, Mass, 1900-05, North Andover, Mass, 1905-23, and Pdgnm Church, Toledo, Ohio, 1923-38, minister ementus 1938-40, smce retirement acted as special adviser to churches m work of budding larger congregations; chairman Seminar on Church Attendance 1936-40, author.
