Father, Rev Isaac Stiles Hopkins, DD (B A Emory Umv. 1859; M D Medical Coll of Georgia 1861), Methodist Episcopal minister and educator, president Emory Umversity 1884-88, first president Georgia School of Technology 1888-96, son of Thomas and Rebecca (Lambert) Hopkms of Augusta, Ga Mother, Mary (Hmton) Hopkins, daughter of John W and Louisa (Rogers) Hmton of Oxford Robbms High School, Adanta, Ga ; B.A Emory Umversity 1901 and LL B Umversity of Georgia 1904 (member Phi Delta Theta), attended Yale School of Law 1904-05 (LL B 1905, an editor Yale Law Journal; member Corbey Court and Kent Club), admitted to Georgia bar 1904; lawyer in Adanta 1905-33 (member Rosser, Slaton, Phillips & Hopkins 1915-21, Rosser, Slaton & Hopkms 1921-23, and Slaton & Hopkms 1923-33), retired m 1933 because of ill-health, professor of law Emory University 1916-18; director Georgia Children's Home Society, member Chamber of Commerce, Masomc order, Glenn Memonal Church, Atlanta, and First Methodist Church, Athens Marned November 15, 1910, in Athens, Eleanor Francina Hunnicutt (Emerson Coll 1904-05), daughter of John Atkinson Hunnicutt (M D. Buried m Oconee Cemetery, Athens Survived by wife, son, three sisters, Mrs. Nathan Edwm Sanders of Berkeley, Cahf, Miss Ruth Hopkms of La Grange, Ga., and Miss Jessie Hopkms of Adanta, and two brothers, Hmton Hopkins of Adanta and Thomas Hopkms of Birmingham, Ala Noa Webster Aluli, LL.M. 1905. Bom December 1,1880, in Wailuku, Maui, TH. Died October 14,1937, in Honolulu, TH Father, S K Aluh of Waduku LL B Umversity of Michigan 1901; attended Yale School of Law 1904-05 (LL.M 1905, member Yale Law School Political Club), lawyer m Hdo, T H , 1905-11 and Honolulu 1911-37, member terntonal board of registration 1901-04, clerk terntonal senate 1903. Death due to bdateral nephrolithiasis Buned in Diamond Head Memonal Park Cemetery, Honolulu. Survived by six chddren
