Born September 3, 1872, in South Whitley, Ind Died January 5,1943, in Eldorado, Ohio Father, John Reuben Creager, a farmer near West Manchester, Ohio; son of Peter and Elizabeth (Rike) Creager of Farmersville, Ohio, and South Whidey. Mother, Juha Anne (Banfill) Creager, daughter of John and Hannah (Pnce) Banfill of Preble County, Ohio. Prepared at a country school, attended Ohio State Umversity 1893-94 and National Normal University 1894-96 (B A. 1896). Entered Yale College Semor year, high oration appomtment and third Lucius F.
