Born September 24, 1849, in Jacksonville, III Died January 7, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo Parents, Willard and Margaret T. Blodgett of Jacksonville Prepared at Phillips Academy, Exeter, N.H. Member Delta Kappa at Yale Unoccupied 1874-75, teacher grammar school Hinsdale, IIIs, 1875-76 and Southboro, Mass., 1876-79; principal Peters High School, Southboro, 1879-87; superintendent public schools Milford, Mass, 1887-96, Framingham 1896-1913, Randolph, Holbrook, and Avon Union School District 1913 until retirement 1917, resided in Kansas City 1926-44, member Masonic order and Episcopal church. / Married June 6,1878, in Stoneham, Mass , Annie Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel W. Parker. Son* George Parker Mrs. Blodgett died October 18, I037- Death due to bronchial pneumonia Buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City. Survived by son, two grandchildren, and two great-grand- "\ children. William Parkin, B.A. 1874. Born September 3, 1854, in New London, Conn Died December 24, 1943, in New Yor\ City Father, William Wmthrop Parkin, a merchant in New York City, son of Dr. John S. W. Parkin and Mary (Hitchcock) Parkin Mother, Frances Moore (Rogers) Parkin; daughter of Dr. J. Smythe Rogers and Augusta Temple (Winthrop) Rogers of New York City St. Paul's School, Concord, N H. Entered Yale College Sophomore year, philosophical oration appointment Junior year, salutatory oration appointment Senior year; president Berkeley Association Senior year, member Yale University Dramatic Association, Delta Beta Xi, Delta Kappa Epsilon, Skull and Bones, and Phi Beta Kappa. * If the father of an alumnus is a Yale graduate, the father's record is not usually jgiven in this volume, but may be found in published form elsewhere.
