Death due to heart disease Buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, New London. Survived by two sisters,.the Misses Augusta and Alice Temple Parkin of New York City. , ' Cornelius Royal Wallace, B.A. 1874. Born October 27, 1845, in Medford, Mass. Died March 17, 1944, in West Palm Beach, Fla. Parents, Alfred and Harriet (Newell) Wallace. Prepared at Phillips Academy, Andover, Mass Member Gamma Nu at Yale. Attended Union Theological Seminary 1874-75; pnvate tutor in Philadelphia 1875-76 and New York City 1876-77; teacher in public schools of New York City 1877 untu retirement 1906; lived abroad for some time but for many years before his death resided in West Palm Beach Married (1) March 6, 1885, in Greenwich, Conn., Anna Schlumberger Von Bach, daughter of Johann G. Schlumberger (Ph D. University of Munich), and Schell Schlumberger. No children. Mrs. Wallace died in 1915 Married (2) about 1930, in Florida Mrs. Wallace died January 10, 1940. Death due to gastroenteritis Ashes scattered on Lake Worth, Fla. Survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles Howard, four stepgrandchildren, and ten stepgreat-grandchildren. , * Since January 16, 1941, Mr Wallace had enjoyed the distinction of being the oldest living graduate of Yale.
