Married (1) May 20, 1884, in Chicago, Ellen Sheldon, daughter of Thomas Drummond, LL.D. (B.A Bowdoin Coll. 1830), and Delia (Sheldon) Drummond. Daughter: Katharine (Mrs. Katharine Farwell Carpenter). Mrs Farwell died August 6, 1912. Married (2) April 3, 1919, in Coronado, Calif, Harriet Flower Dunlap Smith, daughter of James Monroe and Lucy Louisa (Coues) Flower. Mrs. Farwell died December 26, 1938. Death due to myocarditis. Buried in Lake Forest Cemetery Survived by daughter, five stepchildren, Mrs W. Dow Harvey of Lacomber, 111, Perry Dunlap Smith (B.A. Harvard 1911) of Chicago, Lawrence Dunlap Srriitn (B A. Harvard 1912) of Lake Forest, Prof. Elliott Dunlap Smith (B.A. Harvard 1913, LL B. 1916, M A. Hon. Yale 1928) of New Haven, and Hermon Dunlap Smith (B.A Harvard 1921) of Lake Forest, eighteen stepgrandchildren, a sister, Mrs Fannie F. Tuttle, the widow of Henry N. Tuttle, '81, of New Haven, and a brother, Arthur L. Farwell, '84. Another brother, Francis C Farwell, '82, died in 1935. Robert Hallam Munson, B.A. 1879. Born January 27, 1857, in Bradford, N.Y. Died December 24, 1943, in New Yor\ City. Father, Edgar Munson, a lumberman in Wilhamsport, Pa.; associated with John R. Cook & Company, Slonaker, Howard & Company, and Starkweather & Munson; son of Jesse and Sophia (Tallmadge) Munson of Bradford Mother, Lucy Maria (Curtis) Munson, daughter of Amos and Louisa (Johnson) Curtis of Meriden, Conn Yale relatives include: C. La- Rue Munson, '75 L. (brother); Edgar Munson, '04, and George S Munson, '04 (nephews); and George Munson, ex-32, N. Van Vranken F. Munson, '33, and Townsend Munson, '33 (grandnephews).
