No children. Mr. and Mrs. Whitaker were divorced in 1931. Married (2) June 12, 1932, in Greenwich, Conn , Mane Louise, daughter of Samuel Van Benschofen and Edith (Moran) Schreiner Daughter: Sara Death due to heart failure. Buried in South View Cemetery, North Adams. Survived by wife and daughter. William Dwight Baldwin, B.A. 1897. Born October 25, 1873, in Sunny side, Maui, T.H Died October 31, 1943, in Ma\awao, Maui, T.H. Father, Henry Pernne Baldwin, superintendent of sugar plantations in Maui and Makaweli, T.H., senator Hawaiian legislature; son of Rev. Dwight Baldwin, M.D. (B A 1821), and Charlotte (Fowler) Baldwin of Maui Mother, Emily McKinney (Alexander) Baldwin; daughter of William Patterson Alexander (Princeton Theological Seminary 1828-31) and Mary Ann (McKinney) Alexander of Maui, and Oakland, Calif. Yale relatives include John D Fowler (B.A 1813) (great-uncle), Wilham D. Alexander (BA 1855) and David D Baldwin (B.A 1857) (uncles); Arthur C Alexander, '88 S , Erdmann D. Baldwin, ^-'89 S., William A. Baldwin, '92 S , Wallace M Alexander, '92 S , Samuel E. Damon, '96, and Henry F Damon, '06 (cousins); Henry P. Baldwin, '25, Fred C Baldwin, '28, Asa F.
