Mother, Esther (Campbell) Goodwin, daughter of James and Esther (Gnswold) Campbell of North Manchester, Conn Yale relatives include: James Campbell (M.A. Hon 1891) (uncle), and Ernest Campbell, '93 L., Frederic W. Campbell, '02, and James N H Campbell, '03 (cousins). Hartford Public High School.
