Father, Ransom Franklin Humiston (B.A Western Reserve Umv 1857), professor of chemistry Western Reserve University. Mother, Harriet Anne (Sheumacker) Humiston Minneapolis (Minn ) High School. Second colloquy appointment Senior year; Freshman Glee Club; Sophomore Choir; Apollo Glee Club Sophomore and Junior years Attended Yale School of Law 1902-04 (LL B 1904; member Corbey Court). Associated with an abstract company in Pittsburgh 1904-05, admitted to the bar 1906; managing clerk Brooks & Eckley, lawyers, New York City, 1906; member Humiston & Hincks 1906-08 and Humiston, Olcott [Herman P., '01] & Hincks and its successor, Humiston & Olcott, 1908-16, practiced mdependendy in New York City 1917-27; due to ill-health had spent much time at Mt. Dora, Fla , in recent years Married June 8, 1911, in Lima, Peru, Mary Grace Winterton Quacken- bos, daughter of Adomram Judson and Isabel L. Winterton. No children Death due to capillary bronchitis. Ashes interred in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. Survived by wife. Robert Elias Bond, B.A. 1903. Born February 15, 1880, in Kohala, Hawaii. Died October 19, 1943, in Berkeley, Calif. Father, Elias Cornelius Bond, a sugar planter and manufacturer in Kohala; son of Rev. Elias Bond, D D. (B A. Bowdoin 1837, grad. Bangor Theological Seminary 1840), and Ellen Mariner (Howell) Bond of Kohala. Mother, Alice Roll (Moyle) Bond; daughter of James William and Angehne Stevenson (Hughes) Moyle. Yale relatives include an uncle, William L. Bond, '75.
