Children: Madeleine Elliott (B.A Univ. California 1936), Robert Elston, '40, Gloria Coohdge (B A Univ. California 1940), and Suzanne (Univ. California 1947) Death due to coronary sclerosis. Ashes interred in Oakland (Calif.) Columbarium. Survived by wife, children, and a sister, Edith Bond Howard (B L Smith Coll. 1904), the wife of Lawrence A. Howard, '03. William White Gleason, B.A. 1903. Born December 29 1882, in Delhi, N.Y. Died January 29, 1944, in Port Chester, N Y. Father, John Blanchard Gleason, '76. Mother, Annie Elizabeth (White) Gleason. Yale relatives include: Lafayette B. Gleason, '85 (uncle); and John G. Escher, '33, Franklin Escher, Jr, '38, and Hugh W. Escher, ex- '45 (nephews). Rugby Military Academy, New York City.
