Technology 1888), president Improved Paper Machinery Company, Nashua, N.H.; son of William Norris and Emily Williams (Hart) Conner of Boston. Mother, Maude Ethel (Monroe) Conner. La Villa, Ouchy-Lausanne, Switzerland, Phillips-Exeter, and The Hill School, Pottstown, Pa Freshman Football Squad and Track Association (awarded Wilhsbrook Cup for 35-pound weight); University Football Squad Sophomore and Senior years; University Track Team three years; winner of fourth place in hammer throw, Olympic Games, Amsterdam, 1928; member Beta Theta Pi Associated with New York Athletic Club, New York City, 1931-32; secretary and treasurer Sherbrooke (Canada) Machineries, Ltd., 1933-36; engaged in farming and ranching in Stockton 1937-44. Married January 3,1935, in San Francisco, Alice Rudedge Haas, daughter of Edward Haas. Son: Edward Jewett. Death due to chemical poisoning. Buried in Exeter. Survived by wife, son, parents, and two sisters, the Misses Mona and Lois Conner of Nashua. Gilbert Hoffman Sidenberg, B.A. 1931. Born January 22, 1910, in New Yor\ City. Died March 13, 1944, at Bougainville, Solomon Islands. Father, William R Sidenberg, '02, retired commission merchant in New York City, son of Richard and Matilda (Schafer) Sidenberg of New York City Mother, May Isabelle (Hoffman) Sidenberg; daughter of Joseph Emanuel and Belle (Bookman) Hoffman of New York City. Yale relatives include Arthur M. Sidenberg, '11 (uncle); and George E. Blun, '28, Richard O Innes, '29, and James W Innes, '34 (cousins).
