Lieutenant Sidenberg lost his life in the. Batde of Bougamville Survived by father, a sister, Marjorie May Sidenberg (B.A. Smith Coll. 1928), the wife of Peter Abraham Cohn (B.A Princeton 1927) of New York City, and a brother, Richard William Sidenberg, 2d, '29. Frederic Charles Lowinger, B.A. 1933. Born March 29,1911, in New Yor\ City Died June 30,1944, in Normandy. Father, Richard Frederic Lowinger; son of Frederic Lowinger of Vienna, Austria. Mother, Sally (Bondy) Lowinger; daughter of Charles and Henrietta (Lederer) Bondy of New York City Yale relatives include Richard C. Bondy, Jr., ex-'26, and Charles G. Bondy, '28 (cousins) Storm King School, Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. Scholar of the third rank Sophomore and Junior years, oration appointment Senior year, Class football squad Sophomore year; Class football team Junior year. Resided in England since 1935; enlisted as trooper, Armoured Car Company, Royal Tank Corps, February 11, 1942, commissioned Second Lieutenant, 2d Northamptonshire Yeomanry, at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, February, 1943; promoted First Lieutenant. Unmarried. Lieutenant Lowinger was killed in action in Normandy. Survived by mother.
