Sheffield Scientific Sch ool 213 retirement in 1935; traveled widely and had lived in England, India, Japan, and China, contributed articles on railroad and mechanical subjects to Technical Press, member American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers, Travelers Club (Pans), and Union Interallied (Pans) Unmarried. Death due to carcinoma. Ashes interred in Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago. Survived by a sister, Mrs. Walter Frazer Brown of Glen Ellyn, 111 William Todd Ross, Ph.B. 1885. Born January 19, 1864, in New Gloucester, Maine. Died May 3, 1944, in Exeter, N H. Father, Rev. John Alexander Ross (Dalhousie Umv 1851, resident licentiate Andover Theological Seminary i860), minister Congregational church, Hampton, N.H.; son of William and Rosina (Sehg) Ross Mother, Louise (Todd) Ross. Belfast (Maine) High School. Civil engineering course, Class Crew Freshman year, president of the Class Senior year, member Dunham Boat Club and Sheff Gun Club pngaged in constructing an aqueduct in New York City 1885-93, general contractor 1893-99; Wltn Boston & Maine Railroad 1899-1902; engineer in Hampton and in charge construction of sewer at Hampton Beach and grade crossings at Maiden, Mass.; superintendent Hampton Cemetery; chairman Board of Selectmen, Hampton. Married July 17, 1892, Anna Shepard Woodhull. No children Mrs Ross is deceased. Death due to myocarditis. Buried in Hampton Cemetery Survived by no immediate relatives. James Eugene Greenebaum, Ph.B. 1886. Born April 3, 1866, tn Chicago, III. Died July 30, 1943, *«, Chicago, 111. Father, Elias Greenebaum, senior partner Greenebaum Sons, bankers, Chicago; son of Jacob and Esther Greenebaum of Eppelsheim, Germany.
