Brace (B.A. 1801), great-great- granddaughter of Ephraim Lewis (B A 1758) and Jonathan Brace (B.A. 1779), great-great-great-granddaughter of Rev Judah Lewis (B.A. 1726), a descendant of Rev. Samuel Mather (one of the founders of Yale), and sister of Sidney R Kennedy, '98, and Leonard Kennedy, '09 Children: Susan (B A Smith Coll. 1929; universities of Oxford and Heidelberg), Francis William, Jr, '30 (Lieut. USNR.), and Sidney Kennedy, '33 (Lieut. Comdr USNR.) Death due to carcinoma. Buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford, Conn Survived by wife, children, a sister, Mrs. John H. O'Donnell of Yonkers, N Y , and two brothers, Joseph E Tully of New York City and Charles J. Tully of Bradenton, Fla. George Philip Hambrecht, LL.B. 1904. Born February i, 1871, in Milwaukee, Wis. Died December 23, 1943, in Madison, Wis. Father, William Hambrecht, a landscape gardener at Lake Geneva, Wis , son of George Philip and Caroline (de la Roche) Hambrecht of Durkheim, Germany Mother, Mary (Cleary) Hambrecht; daughter of Patrick and Kathenne (Ambrose) Cleary of County Limerick, Ireland. Lake Geneva public schools, attended University of Wisconsin 1892-95; teacher of science and mathematics Wisconsin Rapids High School 1895- 99 and principal 1899-1902; superintendent Wisconsin Rapids schools 1899-1902; studied law in Wisconsin Rapids, and attended University of Chicago 1902-03 (Ph B. 1903); student Yale School of Law 1903-04 (LL B 1904, member Book and Gavel); admitted to the bar 1903; lawyer in Wisconsin Rapids 1904-43 (associated with H. C.
