Buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Osceola Survived by wife, daughter, one son, five sisters, Mrs. Bessie T. Bishop of Des Moines, Mrs. Elsie T. Booth and Miss Kathryn Tillotson, both of Osceola, Merle Tillotson Alcock (Mus.B Drake Univ. 1906) and Enid Tillotson (B S. New York Univ. 1930, MA. 1940), both of New York City, and a brother, La Clede Tillotson of Osceola Frank Douglas Taylor, LL.B. 1921. Born April 14, 1895, in Yor\ville, S.C. Died November 28, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pa. Father, Frank Taylor, a Pullman porter; son of Frank Douglas Taylor and Clara (Hughes) Taylor of Dunnellon, Fla Mother, Cecelia (Shipp) Taylor; daughter of Wilson and Elizabeth (Wheterspoon) Shipp of Salisbury, N C. B.S. Florida Agricultural and Mechanical College 1916; attended Yale School of Law 1916-18 and 1919-21 (LL B 1921); entered United States Army April 30, 1918; regimental sergeant major, 808th Infantry, Camp Devens, and overseas August 31, 1918—June 22, 1919, discharged July 11, 1919, admitted to the bar 1923; associated with Lewis & Norris [J. Austin, '17 L.], Philadelphia, 1921-23; lawyer in Philadelphia 1923-43; member Allen African Methodist Episcopal Church, Philadelphia Married June 12, 1931, in Philadelphia, Nellie, daughter of Percy and Carrie (Morris) Grandy No children Death due to diabetic coma.
