Mother, Loise Atkinson (Staple) Denslow; daughter of Rev. Mark Staple, D.D., and Elizabeth Atkinson (Smith) Staple of Newburyport, Mass. Yale relatives include a cousin, Malcolm M McKenzie, '79. Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute.
