Married June 14, 1887, in Brooklyn, N Y, Florence Augusta, daughter of Eli Phelps and Sarah Morris (Clapp) Ellsworth. Children: Ellsworth, 'n, John Horace, and Paul Palmer, '21. Death due to lobar pneumonia. Buried in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. Survived by wife, children, seven grandchildren, and a brother, Roswell C. Bushnell of De Land, Fla. Another brother, Henry A. (B.A. Princeton 1863, M A. 1866), a Methodist minister; president Pennington (N.J ) School for Boys, son of John and Catherine (Landers) O'Hanlon of Ireland. Mother, Hannah Maria (Maps) O'Hanlon, daughter of William Russell and Mary Ann (Tucker) Maps of Long Branch, N J Yale relatives include a nephew, Morgan H. Alvord, '24. Pennington School for Boys, attended Dickinson College 1878— 79 and Wesleyan University 1879-80. Entered Yale College Junior year; second dispute appointment Senior year; member Delta Kappa Epsilon. Taught Latin, Greek, and the sciences Pennington School for Boys, 1882-84, head mathematics department and vice-president 1884-1900; principal Dinuba (Calif ) High School 1900-05, Glenn County High School, Willows, 1905-10, Santa Inez High School 1910-13, Adin High School, Modoc County, 1914-15, and Hayward High School 1916 until retirement 1938; resided in Fairfax, Calif, 1939-44; member Masonic order and First Methodist Church, Hayward, 'Calif.
