Engaged in land speculation Tacoma, Wash.; occupied in St. Louis and as a rancher in Montana; associated with Altman & Taylor Machinery Company, Mansfield, Ohio; worked successively in Cleveland, Boston, Indianapolis, and in Spnngfield, Mass., from about 1909 until 1914; auditor Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company 1914-45; member Roman Catholic church. Married September 20, 1904, Mary Hannah Hice. No children. Mrs. Moore died March 19, 1927. Death due to myocarditis. Buried in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield, Conn. Survived by no immediate relatives. Wilbur Franklin Booth, B.A. 1884. Born August 22, 1861, tn Seymour, Conn. Died July 7, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minn. Father, Rev Albert Booth (B A. 1850). Mother, Louisa (Tristram) Booth. Yale relatives include: Franklin Booth (Ph B. 1859) (uncle); and Franklin H Booth, '98 (nephew). Cheshire (Conn ) Academy. Second Berkeley Premium for Latin composition Freshman year, philosophical oration appointment Junior year; salutatory oration appointment and Commencement speaker Senior year; Class baseball team Sophomore year; member Delta Kappa, Psi Upsilon, Skull and Bones, and Phi Beta Kappa. Attended Yale Graduate School 1884-86 and Yale School of Law 1886-88 (LL B. magna cum laude 1888; Betts Prize and honors Junior year; Jewell Prize Senior year). Admitted to Connecticut bar 1888 and Minnesota bar 1889; lawyer in St Paul 1889-90 (member Peters [Frank G, '86] & Booth) and in Minneapolis 1890-1944 (in partnership with his brother, Samuel, 1898; partner Tryon & Booth 1904-09), judge Hennepin County district court 1909- 14, United States District Court, District of Minneapolis, 1914-25, and United States Circuit Court of Appeals 1925-44; assistant counsel Minneapolis & St Louis Railway Company 1890-98 and receiver 1925-39; president Yale Alumni Association of the Northwest 1910, member Hennepin County, Minnesota State, and American Bar associations, and Minnesota Historical Society Unmarried. Death due to Parkinson's disease. Ashes interred in Bridgeport, Conn. Survived by a sister, Mrs Ella B. Disbrow, and a brother, James Rubert Booth, both of Bridgeport. Another brother, Samuel A. Booth, '84, died in 1898
