Married (1) September 21, 1898, in Chicago, Ada Pierce, daughter of Joseph E. Tilt Mr. and Mrs Otis were divorced in 1907. Married (2) April 12, 1914, in San Francisco, Anna McCarl. Mr and Mrs. Otis were divorced in 1915. Married (3) June 3, 1916, Gladys Elmore Mr and Mrs. Otis were divorced. Married (4) Margaret Miller Mrs Otis died December 6, 1939. Married (5) August 10, 1940, in Las Vegas, Nev , Lou Perry Jeffenes Hongan, daughter of William Bennett Jeffenes (M D Washington Univ. 1876) and Salhe Walker (Hudson) Jeffenes. Died sudclenly. Ashes interred in Pierce Brothers Mausoleum, Hollywood. Survived by wife and three stepdaughters. Louis Eugene Voorheis, Ph.B. 1897. Born March 16, 1874, m Portsmouth, Ohio Died July 17, 1944, in Gatltnburg, Tenn. Father, Albert Barnes Voorheis, wholesale clothing manufacturer in Cincinnati; vice-president Union Savings Bank & Trust Company and Lincoln National Bank; son of Andrew Dunlap and Harnet M (Jackson) Voorheis of Ovid, N.Y. Mother, Emma Elizabeth (Miller) Voorheis Yale relatives include a brother-in-law, Wyhe McL Ayers, '97. Phdhps-Exeter. Entered Yale College with Class of 1897, transferred to Sheffield Scientific School Freshman year; mechanical engineering course; Freshman Glee Club; second glee club Junior year, University Glee Club Senior year; member University Club Engaged in business in Cincinnati 1897 until retirement 1923, associated with American Tool Works Company 1897-1903 (held various positions up to vice-president and general manager and was responsible for the development of the firm into a well organized and profitable business), vice-president Standard Carbonic Company 1903-23 and Oakley Machine Tool Company 1915-18; resided on his estate, Twin Creek Orchard, Gathnburg, summers and in Florida winters; among his hobbies was woodworking, making replicas of fine museum pieces and early American furniture; member First Presbytenan Church, Cincinnati.
