Died November 3, 1944, tn Santa Monica, Cahf. Father, George McClelland Reynolds, chairman of the board Continental Illinois Bank and Trust Company, Chicago; president American Bankers Association 1909; chairman National Credit Corporation 1933; son of Elijah Jackson and Eliza (Anderson) Reynolds of Panora, Iowa. Mother, Ehzabeth (Hay) Reynolds; daughter of George R M. and Elizabeth A. (Turner) Hay of Panora Lawrenceville (N J.) School Select course; Freshman Track Team; University Track Squad, member York Hall and Chi Phi. An organizer Peoples Trust and Savings Bank, assistant cashier 1910- 13, cashier 1913-15, president 1915-32; became president Chicago Clearing House and National Air Transport, Inc, in 1928; affiliated with Watrola Southwest Sales Corporation, San Pedro, Cahf.; commissioned Captain, Engineers, Officers Reserve Corps, October 6, 1917; served in Engineers Corps October 6, 1917-April, 1918, and in Transportation Corps April, 1918-February 9, 1919, promoted Major, Transportation Corps, November 8, 1918, overseas October 9, 1918-February 7, 1919; awarded French certificate, Order of University Palms, Grade of Officier d'Academie, discharged February 11, 1919; on executive committee United States Polo Association, director Yale Scholarship Trust and Yale Club of Chicago; member Yale Engineering Association Married January 20, 1915, in St. Louis, Mary, daughter of Charles White Scudder.
