The Hill School, Pottstown, Pa. Administrative engineering course; scholar of the second rank Freshman year; general one-year honors for excellence in all studies Senior year; Freshman Track Team; Class hockey and baseball teams Senior year, Class book committee; member St. Elmo and Delta Phi. Studied metallurgy Columbia University School of Mines 1923-24; engineer M. W Kellogg Company, engineers and contractors, New York City, 1924-38, president Londonderry Company, Inc., furniture, South Londonderry, Vt, 1938-43. Married September 11, 1926, in New Canaan, Conn., Wynne JJyard (Barnard Coll. ex-26), daughter of Dever Smith Byard (M.D. New York Umv 1895) and Ella (Nabersberg) Byard. Children: Wynne and Edward Jesup, Jr. Commissioned Lieutenant, U S. Naval Reserve, December 9, 1942; aided in construction of equipment for combating mines at Pleasure Bay Demagnetization Station, Boston, December, 1942-October, 1943, and at Noumea, New Caledonia; based at Noumea March-September, 1944; assigned to active sea duty on staff of Admiral of Mine Fleet October, I944* Lieutenant Taylor was killed in enemy action. Buried on Okinawa. Survived by wife (now the wife of Boylston Green, '41 Ph.D ), children, parents, and two brothers, Howard C. Taylor, Jr., '20 S. (M D. Columbia Univ. 1924), and Burton W. Taylor, '28 S. David Kennedy Corey, B.S. 1925. Born July 18, 1899, tn Homestead, Pa. Died June 13, 1945, in Baltimore, Md. Father, Alfred Adams Corey, Jr, president Vanadium Corporation of America, New York City; son of Alfred Adams and Adahne (Fritz) Corey of North Braddock, Pa. Mother, Amelia Stella (Rose) Corey (Wilson Coll 1895-97); daughter of Charles and Anna A. (Nugent) Rose of Braddock, Yale relatives include a cousin, Alan L. Corey, 'n.
