Born October 13, 1874, in Toledo, Ohio. Died November 9, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio. Father, Frank J. Cheney, a manufacturer in Toledo. Mother, Flora (Merriam) Cheney. Toledo High School; attended Ohio State University 1892-93 and Yale School of Law 1893-95 (LL.B. 1895); associated with Cheney Medicine Company, Toledo, 1895-1944 (manager 1897-1944), member Inverness Club. Married April 4, 1942, in Ottawa Hills, Ohio, Lillian, daughter of Gustav and Bertha (Dickman) Heller. Death due to chronic myocarditis. Buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo. Survived by wife. Samuel Kell McCall, LL.B. 1897. Born April 9, 1876, in Yor\, Pa. Died February 23, 1945, in Ta\oma Par\, Md. Father, Hugh Whiteford McCall, a lawyer in York; Captain Company A, 21 st Pennsylvania Cavalry, during Civil War; son of James Logue and Sarah Dean (Whiteford) McCall Mother, Rachel Elizabeth (Kell) McCall; daughter of Samuel and Margaret (Mears) Kell of Chambersburg and York, Pa. Yale relatives include a brother, James St.C McCall, '93 L. York High School; attended Yale School of Law 1895-97 (LL B. 1897, member Pi Delta Alpha); admitted to the bar 1897, lawyer in York 1897-1945; solicitor York School District 1924, 1925, 1926 and for the City of York for a number of years, served in Puerto Rico with War- burton Battery of Philadelphia during Spanish-American War, member First Presbyterian Church, York Married November 24, 1909, in York, Pauline Virginia, daughter of Edwin and Anna (Iaeger) Myers.
