Gertrude Ann Jacobsen, Ph.D. 1929. Born July 2, 1895, in Hillsboro, N,Da\. Died March 3, 1942, in Minneapolis, Minn. Father, Rev Jonas Andrew Jacobsen (Norwegian Methodist Episcopal Seminary), a minister in North Dakota; son of Andrew and Sophia (Hansen) Jacobsen of Norway Mother, Hanna Christina (Bernsten) Jacob- sen; daughter of Bernt and Ehse (Johansen) Bernsten of Frednkstad, Norway.
