Wright (Class of 1884 S.), who was successively commanding general of Third, Fifth and Seventh Corps, 89th Division, and then of the First Corps; served two weeks as intelligence officer of Seventh Corps; at Baccarat with 77th Division and in Vosges with Fifth Corps; at St.-Mihiel and Argonne with 89th Division, and Chateau-Thierry with 26th Division, discharged as Captain, Infantry, February, 1919; member Society of Beaux-Arts Architects and Associates in Fine Arts (Yale University). Unmarried Death due to a heart attack. Buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, New York City. Survived by a sister, Katharine Barney Barnes, the wife of Courtlandt D. Barnes, '02.
