Yale 1903, lawyer in Oklahoma City 1903-48; Democratic representative of Oklahoma County in State legislature 1906-7 (chairman committee on municipal corporations); justice of the peace 1912-28 (with exception of two terms), secretary City Democratic Central Committee; member Oklahoma Bar Association and Corpus Christi Church (Roman Catholic), Oklahoma City. Married January 9, 1912, in Guthrie, Okla, Laura Frances, daughter of Samuel M. and Kathenne (Mowrey) Ritenour, Sons: Edward James (LL.B.
