May God open yl young man's eyes yl he may see yl he has transgressed against ye Lord in offering up ye Publick Prayers, wch is ye Same in ye Xn chh, yt offering Incense on ye Altar was in ye Jewish Uzziah was thrust out of ye Sanctuary for such a Desecration wch turned to his Dishonour he became a Leper to his dying Day. Mo"4 came here to stay all night. Saturday, July 27 th 1751. My two negro's howing in ye Buckwheat and sowed turnips to Day. Mo.' is here. I have not been well and my Arm is in its old weak Frame. Sunday, July 28th" 1751. Good God go w* me to yy House and bless both Priest and People. Mr. Mumford73 tells me Bourse's reading &c hath disgusted many at Newport and yey have sent for Mr. Usher.224 Sunday, July 28th- 1751. It is a hot Day, I am returned from chh. Mo' is gone Home, it looks like Rain. Monday, July 29th-1751.1 wrote by Samuel Browne244 to Mr. Usher, we have had a fine refreshing Rain ys Forenoon. My two Negro's are threshing Rye.
