Script: Written in fine early gothic bookhand; arts. 11-12 in less expert hands.
Carefully drawn monochrome initials with modest penwork designs, 12- to 2-line, in red, green and blue. Headings in red.
Binding: Eighteenth century, France. Bound in light brown, mottled calf with a gold-tooled spine and red label: "Opera Senecae MS". Red edges. Mended at tail. Discoloration from bosses (?) of earlier binding on first and last leaves. - Provenance
