Note from British Museum online catalogue regarding artist: "Schalken died 5 years before Catherine Clive was born: this print is simliar to a mezzotint by Faber II after Bleeck (Chaloner Smith 85), and to a mezzotint by Faber inscribed with 'G Schliecken' as the painter's name (Russell 85a), which may have been the source for the erroneous inscription."
