"Lady Archer (left) and Lady Buckinghamshire (right) stand in the pillory as in BMSat 8876, their heads turned in profile towards each other. Lady Archer wears a feathered hat, riding-habit, and boots (cf. BMSat 7973, &c.); Lady Buckinghamshire wears feathers in her hair, her broad breast is immodestly bare, her face is patched. She stands on tip-toe on the top of her Faro 'Bank Box'.
