Abstract: "A fox with the head of Fox sits in profile to the right, one paw on the forehead of a life-like bust of the Prince of Wales, which he has carved; his mallet and chisels lie on the ground. He says: "What a goodly figure this makes! what a Pity that it should want Brains. Esops Fab." Two other pieces of sculpture stand on pedestals: (left) a whole length statue of a woman, kneeling on one knee in profile to the left, partly draped, having a certain resemblance to Mrs. Fitzherbert; a head (right) wearing a laurel wreath in profile to the left, looking up at Fox and the Prince; it has the long nose of Hanger, but is perhaps intended for Aesop."--British Museum online catalogue
