Abstract: "A Welshman and a Yorkshireman drink together at a table outside a rustic building; one holds a halter, waiting for a horse which a boy in the background is catching. The former says: '"Gots splutter I tell the County where I came from is so fertile that if you were to put in a seive over Night in a Close w [cropped] Hur Knows you would have hard matter to find it in the morning it would be so covered with grass.'' - Yn - "Phoo - thats nothing when compared to a Clos [cropped] is in Yorkshire where you may put in a Horse at Night and not be able to find him next morning.'"--British Museum online catalogue
