Women students from Yenching University on class outing, Beijing, China, ca. 1920-19301920-1930Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive.But we go many other places, especially in small groups, a Geology class to the cottage at the Western hills, for a few days of rest and study, a Bible class or Prayer group, or just anyone who wants to go on a certain day, to the North Lake of the old places, among its rock gardens, temples, and summerhouses, for a boat trip along the moat, perhaps to the Princes' tombs, or out to the Zoological gardens, to combine study with a most delightful trip. Such fun as we do have on those occasions, laughing over the donkey riding, singing hymns or songs, if the places isolation permits, trailing along in twos or threes, and getting a considerable amount of exercise, which we need very much.still image
