In this section of the procession, there are young boys dressed in white robes holding baskets around their necks. Following the boys is a canopied litter with a person sitting inside, and approximately fifty to sixty procession participants.
The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the publisher: Ecole Apostolique de Gentinnes (Brabant) and also contains information about the Catholic mission agency: "Mission francaise des P.P. du St. Esprit" and a caption: "La procession a Dakar. De processie te Dakar" ("The procession to Dakar").
