"A little elderly man lands on a steep slope after leaping a fence; he has lost his seat and sits on the horse's neck, clutching its ears, while his whip dangles from the rein. Reissue; the year "1807" following Rowlandson's signature has been mostly burnished from plate, and the year "1807" in imprint statement has been altered to "1811." See British Museum catalogue.
