Abstract: Engraving of the coat of arms of the Foundling House used to illustrate the title page of "An account of the hospital for the maintenance and education of exposed and deserted young children". Coat-of-arms shows a naked child, a lamb holding a sprig of thyme as the crest, figures of maternal nature and Britannia as supporters, and the motto "Help".
