Provenance: Formerly owned by Charles W. Frederickson, the volume being no. 625 in the catalogue of his library; sold in 1897. Later owned by Archibald Philip, Earl of Rosebery, with his armorial bookplate in the volume. Sold at the Rosebery sale, 28 June 1933, lot 688, to Maggs for W.S. Lewis.
