Abstract: "A man whole length standing in profile to left. He wears the macaroni looped club, coat, waistcoat, and frilled shirt. With this he wears a round hat, loose gloves, and spurred riding boots. In his right hand he holds a rough stick cut from the hedge, in the shape of the cane carried by the Macaroni Provider."--British Museum online catalogue
