Further above is a single image of the sun, in addition to a smaller version beneath the shield. There is a bust representing an esteemed individual in each corner of the bookplate. Above the shield are two mottos, which read Quæ Regio in Terris Nostri non Plena Laboris; and Nihil Humanum Alienum. Below the shield is a third, which reads Invia Virtuti via Nulla.still image
