Abstract: Drawing composed of two images of a vase that was kept by Horace Walpole in the Tribune at Strawberry Hill. The top image shows the vase full-length from the side, with human and animal figures visible on the upper part of the vessel. This ornamentation, a depictioin of a sacrifice to Priapus that wraps completely around the vase, is expanded horizontally in the bottom image so that the entire scene is visible

Date based on death date of Thomas Kirgate, who likely assembled the extra-illustrated volume in which this drawing is found.
