Layout: single column of 21 lines.
Binding: vellum, over paper boards. Spinal title: Meletius, De natura et structura hominis, Graece manuscripta.
Author also known as Meletius the monk or Meletius of Tiberopolis (Tiberiopoli, Phrygia).
Volume was likely produced in Venice between 1539 and 1542 or Guillaume Pellicier, bishop of Montpellier and ambassador to Venice.

- Unidentified numbers (shelfmarks?) 109, 31, and 114 on front pastedown. Ownership inscription on front flyleaf of the Clermont Jesuit College in Paris. Manuscript note in the inner margin on f. 1r: Paraphe au desir de l'arrest du 5 juillet 1763 / Mesnil. Formerly owned by Gerard Meerman (1722-1771) and Jean Meerman (1753-1815); their collection sold by Luchtmans in 1824 (their number 275). Formerly owned by Dr. Samuel Parr (1747-1825); his sale, Evans, London October 31, 1828 (lot 1537). Formerly owned by Sir Thomas Phillipps (armorial stamp Ms 3892; label on spine with shelfmark). Purchased for the Yale Medical Library in 1957 from Laurence Witten as a gift of the Jacob Ziskind Trust.
