Description: Three and a half revenue stamps verso with "Simkia" across them in pencil. Cf. accompanying envelope [no longer present] which states in part: "Grandad...E.R. Richardson whose name in slavery was Richard Jones...Tom Richardson." Accompanied by real photo postcard of E.R. Richardson as an elderly man wearing his GAR medals "Edward Richardson - S(?) Woodstown, N.J." handwritten verso. Also accompanied by snapshot of an all black army baseball team with bystanders in military dress, circa 1915.
