Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, of the texts of 69 hymns and religious poems. The hymns address such subjects as praise and thanks to God, rejoicing, and prayer, and each of the hymns is attributed to a 17th-century musician, with names such as Henry Purcell, John Blow, Henry Hall, Matthew Locke, and Peter Passmore. The poems in the volume include Some Experimentall Passages of Her Life, with the name in the title cut out of the page; Of Love; and George Herbert's Jesu
