Album containing 22 mounted manuscripts and 2 printed broadsides, all connected to support for the House of Stuart and almost all dating from the 1745 Jacobite rebellion. The first 19 are numbered and identified as "Found in the secretary of a partizan of the house of Stewart in 1745." Contents include proclamations issued by Charles Edward Stuart on his arrival in Scotland; a 1742 letter attributed to James, Prince of Wales (the "Old Pretender"); several poems in support of the house of Stuart; an ode on the Stuart victory at Gladsmuir (Prestonpans) and poems on the defeat at Culloden; a list of Jacobite toasts; a 1691 letter of caption issued by William and Mary against Hector MacKenzie; and a contemporary copy of "the Late E. of Argyll's speech" before his execution in June, 1685
